OUR 1998 CALENDAR

Program || Calendar by Month || USA Tour 1998

MEETING THE GOALS
The three goals of Scouting; Citizenship, Character, and Fitness, are very intricate parts of the Outdoor Method of Scouting. Citizenship experienced through participation, a group working together to accomplish a common goal. Citizenship is learned by doing as well as by formal study. Character building takes place when confronted with challenge. Our program is a progressive system of challenges. Fitness is found throughout a vigorous outdoor program. Our aim is mental, physical and moral fitness. The more opportunities for Scouts to practice the "Game of Scouting", the greater our opportunity for achieving the goals of Citizenship, Character, and Fitness.

BOY PLANNED
The Troop 33 program is boy planned at our annual weekend Patrol Leaders Retreat.   All Scouts have input into this plan through their patrol leader.

VIGOROUS SCHEDULE
Troop 33 offers the most economical and effective program we can. We have planned activities that take us as far west as Montana, as far east as West Virginia, as far north as Minnesota, and as far south as Kentucky.
